Overview

The Ingwe 4×4 APC is a South African armoured personnel carrier designed for installation protection, security, patrol and protected personnel transport. Built for demanding environments, the Ingwe offers all round protection against land mines, hand grenades, fire bombs and small arms fire.

The vehicle features a monocoque hull with a V shaped design that helps deflect land mine blast energy away from the crew compartment, improving occupant protection during high risk operations. Its 4 wheel drive layout, coil spring suspension, power assisted steering and 420 mm ground clearance support strong mobility across industrial sites, mines, refineries, ports, power stations and difficult off road conditions.

With seating for a standard crew of 2 plus 10, the Ingwe 4×4 APC provides practical protected transport for security teams, operational personnel and response units. It is powered by an ADE366 diesel engine producing 100 kW at 2800 rpm and 408 Nm of torque at 1400 rpm, paired with a manual gearbox and 2 speed transfer box.

The Ingwe 4×4 APC is well suited for private security, government, mining, industrial and infrastructure protection applications where dependable armoured mobility is required.
